Windows onlyWindows 10 22H2, or Windows 11 24H2 or later

Get it from the Microsoft Store

Open DuoTyping in the Microsoft Store, install it, then open it. On Windows 10, it needs an x64 PC.

Choose Sign In… and sign in to your free account: 20 checks a day.

Or choose Use my own key instead and paste an OpenAI or Anthropic key. That service bills you.

Find it in the tray

DuoTyping has no main window. It lives in the tray, at the right end of the taskbar, hidden behind ^ at first. To keep it in view, turn on Other system tray icons › DuoTyping.

You’re done when…

DuoTyping’s icon is in the tray, and Win+Shift+D checks the text you select.
